Designed for the living room
Built around how movie night actually happens — a small group, one screen, and a few minutes before someone gets up to make tea.
Timed cards, no stalling
A small, time-boxed deck per round. The clock auto-skips indecisive voters so nobody hijacks the night.
Made for the living room
Vote together on one shared screen, or have everyone join from their own phone. No group-chat polls, no endless back-and-forth — just open and play.
Hard vetoes, respected
Set non-negotiables — no horror, no 3-hour epics, no rewatches — at the couch, context, or session level.
Smart, fresh decks
Recommendations are precomputed and diversified so you don't see the same five movies every Friday.
No ads, no tracking SDKs
No third-party advertising, no analytics on your votes, no selling your data. Ever.
Where to watch it
Every winner card shows poster, overview, ratings, and the streaming providers carrying it.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before movie night.
Everyone votes on the same timed-card deck — swipe right for yes, left for no, mark a maybe, or let the timer auto-skip indecisive votes. When the round ends, the movie with the highest consensus wins. No 40-minute scroll, no analysis paralysis.
No — in free mode everyone votes together on one shared screen. With premium, each person can join the same session online from their own phone using a 6-digit code or QR, with votes synced in real time.
Movie data is synced from TMDB (titles, posters, overviews) with IMDB-style ratings proxied via OMDB. CouchVote shows you what's available, with provider badges so you know where to watch.
Yes. Set hard vetoes (e.g. no horror, no 3-hour epics) at the couch, context, or session level. Hard vetoes are always respected — no override path.
